Five Nights at Freddy's has long been a horror game franchise developed by Scott Cawthon. The first edition of this franchise became public on August 8th 2014, and the developer released Five Nights at Freddy's 2 on November 10th 2014.

FNAF 2 is available on almost every common platform, like IOS, Android, Windows, Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, etc.

The second FNAF edition’s gameplay mainly resembles the first one. You must avoid the attack from scary game characters and keep yourself alive during the 12 a.m to 6 p.m shift at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.

Jeremy Fitzgerald is the new character of the Five Nights at Freddy's 2. Every night, the main character receives a call from the Phone Guy who guides him to survive and tells him the restaurant’s background story.

How To Play FNAF 2

#1 Where To Play The Game

You can play Five Nights at Freddy's 2 online on the fnaf-game.org, or you can download and play this game via Steam.

#2 Let’s Get Started

If you haven’t played the game before, click “New Game”. If you already have a checkpoint, click “Continue”.

#3 Learn How To Use The Flashlight

The flashlight operation may differ on some platforms, but it’s still straightforward. For instance, FNAFs 2 in some devices requires players to press and hold “Ctrl” to use the flashlight, whereas some may allow players to press and hold “Space”. There will be a tutorial on the screen for you.

#4 Be Careful With The Vents

You will see two vents on your right and left corners. They are the paths for horror animatronics to approach you. You must click the “Light” signal above the vents to light them up and realize the coming of animatronics.

#5 Learn How To Use The Mask

The mask will protect you from dangerous animatronics. You must put on the mask when the animatronics are in the vents or whenever you see them. You can use the mask by hovering the mouse on the red button on the left side of the bottom screen.

#6 Learn How To Use The Monitor

A monitor will pop up by clicking on the white button on the right side of the bottom screen. You will see a map of every room in the restaurant. You can spot what is happening in each room by clicking the square box with the room number to check the camera. There are three most remarkable cameras:

Cam 11: this room is where the Puppet stays

Cam 5 and 6: you can see through the vents

Some Tricks For Playing Five Nights at Freddy's 2

Keep in mind some tips if you want to survive through the game:

Don’t let the Phone Guy distract you too much.

Make sure that you can use the mask properly.

Never hesitate to wind up the music box.

You must spend time appropriately checking the cameras.

Foxy is a wicked character, and he may deceive you into believing that he is still in the hall.

Balloon Boy may be the least scary animatronic, but he is powerful. This character can disable the electricity route in your room. Your flashlight and vent lights will become useless.

Mangle creates the buzzing and beeping noise, so you should put on the mask when hearing this sound or when you can’t see Mangle via the camera.
